Everything we ship is GPL.

All bytloop products, free and paid — every theme, every plugin, and every commercial extension and Pro version we sell — are licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later, or under a license compatible with it. This covers every part of what we distribute: PHP, JavaScript, CSS, images, icons, and fonts.

• You can use any bytloop product on as many sites as you like. We do not limit installs by license.
• You can read, modify, and extend the source. All of it ships readable — we do not encode, obfuscate, or minify-only our releases.
• You can redistribute it, including modified versions, under the same license.
• You keep these rights permanently for any version you have received, whether or not you renew.

Buying a bytloop product does not buy a restriction. What a purchase pays for is ongoing access to updates, and to our support — not permission to run the code. The software itself carries the same GPL rights as our free releases from the moment you receive it.

Trademarks are the one thing the GPL does not cover and we do not license: the bytloop name and logo, and our product names and logos, remain ours. You may redistribute the code; please do not represent a modified version as an official bytloop release.

Anything we bundle is either our own work or carries a GPL-compatible license, and every product states its bundled resources and their sources in its own readme. Fonts we ship are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, which is GPL-compatible, and their notices travel with the files.
